For over 75 years, Du-par's has been serving what many critics have proclaimed the "Best Pancakes in Los Angeles". But accounting and payroll in 1938 was very different than now. An implementation of QuickBooks got out of control in a hurry, and governmental and union reporting was becoming a huge time sink for the limited staff. Implementing Dynamics GP Version 10 stabilized the situation. Growth of the restaraunt chain was easily handled by the accounting application.
Microsoft Excel was also used to aid the accounting staff to craete journal entries and interfacing data from disparate Point of Sale devices.
